Study Island Packet to be completed over the break. (see copy of email sent to parents below)

Good Morning Parents,

I just wanted to give you a notice that I will be sending home a Study Island assignment for the Winter Break for students to work on. I surveyed students about computer and internet availability at home, and created printed packets of worksheets for students who indicated they would not have access to the internet over the break. All students will receive instructions about which assignments to do, however some will be coming home with a sizeable packet (students without Internet access). Although the packet looks large, there are only about 3 problems on each page. Students should work through approximately 1 lesson per day. My intention is to keep my students minds active over the break so that the readjustment period will be brief when they return in January. I have attached the handout I sent home with students in case it is misplaced along the way. Please look for the packet this evening, and let me know if you have any questions. I will be on campus until Friday at 1pm. Again, if your student does not have a packet, it is because they indicated that they would be able to use the internet over the break to complete the lessons.  Please have a restful and merry winter break,

Mrs. Coleman
