MASSA students have one Physical Education class every week. Students also use sports equipment during recess time under teachers’ supervision.
Our after school program includes Martial Arts offered by A.I.K. Karate.
The classes are offered each Tuesday afternoon and will begin October 20. Students in Kindergarten through grade 2 meet from 3:00-3:45 p.m., while student in grades 3 through 5 meet from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Registration is $21 and the classes meet for seven sessions. Martial Arts are a great opportunity for students to increase their physical fitness in a program that creates self-discipline and confidence. Watch for the sign-up forms.
